Certain AMD cpus with SSE report themselves as Intel and not as AMD. Examples include AthlonXP/MP, Model 7 Durons that use the Morgan core, and generally any cpu >1GHz. On these cpus, BeOS will issue a specific Intel cpu command, which will cause the computer to reboot.


How can it be fixed?


In addition to these boot images, you could use this AthlonXP/MP/Duron Patcher on R5 PE image.be file. ( Windows )
